Landlord and Tenant Board hearings are held by videoconference in numbered Zoom rooms.
Find the room named on your Notice of Hearing, check the meeting ID, and join. No Zoom
account is needed.
Before you join
Four things to get right
1. Check your notice
Your Notice of Hearing names the room (for example VC112), the date and the time. The room on your notice is the one that counts.
2. Join 15 minutes early
Rename yourself with your full name and your role (landlord, tenant or representative) so the moderator can find you.
3. Test your audio
Use a quiet room, a charged device and a steady connection. If video fails, the notice also lists a phone number and the meeting ID.
4. Have your file ready
Keep your evidence, ledger and notices open in front of you. Evidence must be filed and served before the hearing, by the deadline in the LTB Rules.
